I am using Asus X502C laptop and I made big mistake by trusting Microsoft and Asus Live Update.For my surprise Asus Live Update did not offer any updates and Microsofts GWX.exe did not show that there's any incompatibility problems. So after upgrading from 64bit Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, I am unable to uninstall old software or install the latest SmartGesture update that is available from Asus website that is actually required to be installed before doing the Windows upgrade.So, unfortunately everyone has to verify manually if their software needs replacement before proceeding with the windows upgrade.

If would like to keep most of your settings and installed programs then  Revert to previous Windows before the option is automatically removed in 30days.2. After trying to update the driver and searching for a while online, I now found your post.It can't be seriously the case, that there is no way to install the driver for the touchpad without going back to 8.1, there installing the driver and then upgrading again.

I did send technical question to Asus & received email to wait upto 48hours for answer. I'm tempted to do a clean install of Windows 10, but since I've got a mouse, then I'll just wait for Asus to reply me back & see what workarounds they offer, becauseI wrote to them that I'm not interested in reverting back to Win8.1.But, feel free to send your own complaint to let people at Asus understand that it's a big mistake & unintelligent decision not to offer driver & software updates through their own Live Update and not informing Microsoft that there's a compatibility problemwhich affects computer features & ruins costumer satisfaction. Because I think that people who are using Asus netbooks shouldn't be allowed to upgrade their Windows & instead Microsoft should had to inform all affected users through GWX.exe that there's anewly discovered incompatibility problem with currently installed Asus software.
