How to figure out what is in a Railworks steam update. Once it was finished I opened up the Railworks folder and searched for files that were date-stamped that day.
As I have mentioned elsewhere the Big Boy has been updated by the TS2016 download. Originally posted by:Does this Fix the No Sounds problem?? Yesterday I tried a new consist with the Big Boy and it had sounds. I guess they were those of the Challenger (because the consist remained in that QD loco).I am going to check something out and come back.The cars do have sounds. To my ear it sounds like ALL the Steam Locos have had their 'choo choo' sound nerfed somewhat. The main attraction for me is the sound of the Steam Locos. From what I've heard so far I'd request that the Steam Loco sound be reverted to the previous standard, if it was changed at all. If it has NOT been changed then I'd request that the Steam Loco sounds be beefed up in a future patch.Also, I'm NOT hearing any MUSIC in the menu or otherwise. That is not really a problem for me but I just noticed it.

No music on my install. I am back as promissed.I have not identified the sounds problem in the Big Boy.I even did drag´n drop with the TS2015 Audio folder (as I did with Preload above) and did not work.So there must be a blueprint with the wrong directional for the Audio files.So what did I do?I moved all of the backed up TS2015 Big Boy asset folders to the asset folder pack (see above where it is) aside the.ap. And I have exactly the same Big Boy I had in TS2015 with sounds.If you do not have a backed up TS2015 assets, try moving all folders from the.AP together with the.ap and see if it works.I will do more testing this weekend.Check this post from time to time and take a look to Railworks America. Those guys are much more experts in this kind of mods. I started my previous message by saying: 'Will fix this'.OK people, I can say now.
