I'd like to have one of those instead of these Dyna-Mites.How big is the vise on your machine? If it's a 3 inch, I have 15 to 20 sets of soft jaws made that I used when I was using a 3 inch vise. If you can use them, I can send them to you if you'll just reimburse me for the shipping cost. The jaws are brand new, 3/4 X either 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 (I don't remember). All the same size. I would rather see you have them than to just sell them to the scrap man.

Hi Rex,Yes, you are correct about the control pendant display. The original CRT screen was shot when I bought the mill, so I replaced it with a 17' HP color monitor. I used an electrical enclosure to mount the new monitor into. I cut out the back of the enclosure (which is now the front) to fit the profile of the back of the new monitor so it would fit flush and fabricated some brackets to lock it into the enclosure. I removed the original keyboard and controls from the old pendant and attached them to the new enclosure.

The hinged door on the enclosure is now the back of the unit and provides access to the internals. I think the new monitor is quite an improvement over the original, especially for an old guy that needs bifocals to read I've attached some photos to show the original pendant enclosure with the CRT removed as well as photos of the new unit.TedAttachments.
